2026 is a landmark year for Q-Flex. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary, as well as three decades of successful teamwork, long-standing partnerships with our representatives and valued customer relationships built over the years.

Since the company was founded, we have had the privilege of helping our customers find tailored solutions that meet their specific needs. Every customer and every project has been an opportunity for us to deliver reliable, and even better solutions together.

The name Q-Flex comes from the words Quality and Flexibility. Flexible partnership and high-quality solutions are two core values that guide everything we do.

Key milestones from 30 years of Q-Flex

Three decades have brought countless successes and important steps in our development. Along the way, we have expanded our product portfolio to better meet the evolving needs of our customers, built strong and long-lasting relationships with carefully selected representatives, and continuously developed our operations.

Here are some of the most significant milestones along the way:

2025 | DNV awarded Q-Flex a quality management system certificate

The certification confirms our commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, continuously improving our operations, being environmentally responsible, and developing a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

2023 | New premises and a refreshed brand identity

Q-Flex moved to new 900 m² premises in the business area in Lieto. The central location, together with larger warehouse and office facilities, improved our logistics capabilities and enabled us to serve our customers even better.

At the same time, we also refreshed our brand identity. The renewal strengthens our company identity, supports our business development, and helps us create an even more consistent customer experience.

2020 | Change of ownership

Following an acquisition, Q-Flex came under new ownership, and Ilkka Ilola was appointed as the company’s new CEO. Today, Q-Flex operates as part of ITR Group.

1997–2019 | New product areas and business expansion

From the very beginning, Q-Flex’s product portfolio has included electronic components and materials. Over the years, this offering has been expanded with new product areas and solutions.

The addition of antenna solutions further diversified our offering, while our business expanded significantly into new markets in Estonia and the Baltic region.

1996 | Q-Flex was founded

With more than a decade of experience and a genuine passion for the electronics industry, Sauli Perkola founded Q-Flex in Turku in November 1996 to provide customers with tailored electromechanical solutions.

From the very beginning, the company’s operations have been built around high-quality products from internationally recognized representatives with customer-focused service.
