As vehicle functions continue to expand, the automotive industry faces increasing requirements to integrate a wide range of in-vehicle devices and to electronically manage multiple systems under demanding conditions. Traditionally, even devices with the same functionality often required interface redesigns due to differences in wire harness layouts among end users.

New ''Unit-able" solves challenges

To address this issue, IRISO has developed the “Unit-able” concept, which standardizes board connectors mounted on the PCB while customizing only the contact interface. This approach provides a flexible and efficient solution that can accommodate diverse customer requirements.

Another core feature is IRISO’s proprietary “Z-Move” vibration-control technology, which mitigates the effects of resonance and vibration. In combination with sealing components, the product offers reliable waterproofing, making it suitable for powertrain environments near the engine, where protection against rainwater, car wash water, and muddy conditions is critical.

Mass production is scheduled to begin in the end of 2025.
